Membership is open to any age, gender or nationality working in any textile media. All exhibiting members are subject to continuous selection by their peers. Members who do not submit or do not have work selected for three consecutive years forfeit membership. This rigorous criteria of continuous selection plays a vital role in stimulating the Group to grow and develop.
Contact between members is maintained by a regular newsletter, regional meetings and an Annual General Meeting (AGM) - at which there are sometimes special lectures.
The annual membership fee for an exhibiting member is £45.00 GBP Sterling. This covers newsletters, publications, organising of exhibitions and the AGM.

Membership is through application followed by a selection process, the annual application closing date is 31st May. A £15.00 GBP Sterling application fee contributes to the expense of convening the selection committee; applicants outside the UK should send this as cash in either GBP Sterling or Euros as appropriate. New members pay a reduced fee in their first year proportional to the length of time left in the financial year when they are accepted as members. The 62 Group is administered by a committee of Group members. No applicant should complete this form unless they are willing to take an active part in assisting in its administration.
